John found his passion for creating and editing videos later in life and has not looked back. He began his career making some simple videos and has progressed to creating music videos and is now working with Edify, a local non-profit, in developing a docuseries and documentary of some of the malfeasance saga that has been in the news the past decade with certain banks.
He loves working with people who want to take their creative ideas to the next level. Although his primary passion is videos, he has also is at home doing photoshoots, creating or editing illustrations, and working with customers to enhance their branding and presence.
In Bozeman, John has worked with a variety of different clients, especially in the non-profit sector. He has created videos for Give Big Gallatin Valley for The Extreme History Project, podcasts, illustrations, and videos for Open Door Theatre in Bozeman, and videos and illustrations for Edify. He has also worked with several different local artists and has also created a music video for singer/songwriter Madeline Hawthorne. He also created a commercial for Lava Zipline in Lava Hot Springs Idaho.
Through the Veteran Affairs Vocational Rehabilitation program for disabled Veterans, John is finishing up his formal training through Sessions College for Professional Design and plans to continue upgrading his skills. He also plans on creating his own company, and thanks to options of remote working, the possibilities are vast.
In his downtime, John loves to spend time with his friends and family and performing with various theatre companies in the area. Since this is Montana, John very much enjoys hiking, camping, getting out in nature, and basically takes advantage of being in that amazing state. He also has a YouTube channel where he narrates scary stories.
