Ra Ra Avis by Madeline Hawthorne
My first music video with local Bozeman artist Madeline Hawthorne. At the beginning, we searched for the correct venue for her song Ra Ra Avis from her Boots album and considered various ghost towns, and settled on Bannack State Park a couple of hours away from Bozeman.
Madeline and I worked together to create the story of her moving on and growing as an artist at several different points in her life with Bannack being a transition in her life. I created a comprehensive shot list and working with Madeline and her partner Henry we shot the video and had an abundance of wonderful clips to create her story.
This excursion to Bannack required a media contract with Bannack State Park as well as insurance for the drone shots.
